We've only just begun!

We made it to Chatanooga, TN around 4PM ... went about 600 miles. It was a very pleasant car trip ... nothing too eventful to report.

Then we landed ... the place where we booked months ago had a big water leak and the elevator was out ... it did bother us ... we were on the first floor ... it was a nice suite ... just when we got unpacked the phone rang. They wanted to move us to the 3rd floor as they needed to spray for bugs. I asked if someone could help us move our stuff ... nope ... he was the only one there and had just come back from the doctor as he has a bad back. OK ... we thought this over for about ... 2 seconds ... and said we would look for another place.

There was a Fairfield Inn by Marriott next door ... it should be good ... Carolyn signs us up ... we go up to the room ... within 15 seconds ... I can't talk ... too much mold. OK ... we check out!

There is a Sleep Inn next door ... looks pretty new ... we decide to check the room prior to checking in ... we're wising up ... we go to the 3rd floor ... room 307 ... the door is ajar & we hear voices. We knock instead of just using the pass key and by golly ... a man comes to the door. We're on a roll.

So, by know we're laughing pretty hard ... we've decided by know that a since of humor is critical to our success. They reassign us a room and all is well!

It is 105 degrees outside ... we got extremely hot while moving ... we're in our cool room now and enjoying cold water ...
