Mammoth Hot Spring ~ Elk

Let's face it ... mankind has moved into their area. During rutting season they take it back. We've heard that these animals are most active at night. One might tend to think that this big guy had a rough night. Trust me when I say big ... compared to the females he was huge.

These little was were just so darn cute ... I just had to share with you. They are this years calves.
