Don’t be too impressed, we didn't have to be outside until 7AM and only had to go down in the elevator and out the back door. These mountains are very grey except when the sun rises. They then turn pink … very pretty.
We viewed this from the back of Jackson Lodge. There is a viewing area behind the building. Between the building and the mountains are prairies. This morning we viewed a group of female elk running and sure enough here comes the male. He was a 12 pointer and began to bugle. Then across our view came a big bull moose with a very large rack. He was scratching the rack into the brush which created an awesome sound. The sightings and views were really exceptional!
