Rancho de Chimayo - Restaurante 10/4

The Jaramillo family settled around present-day Chimayo in 1695; nine generations later their descendants run this popular restaurant in a rambling hacienda. How popular? Well, it serves 300k meals a year. If you plan to eat here in the summer, go on off hours. The book says hundreds of bus tours come through here.

Carolyn & I ate at 4PM, it was wonderful, very few people. The staff is so friendly and helpful and oh yeah, the food was GREAT!

The pictures are of the entrance and courtyard. The peppers hung all the way around the courtyard were so festive. Really fun and oh so colorful.
